Capturing Authentic Moments with Ease
I believe there are two types of people in this world. Those who are comfortable in front of a camera and those who would rather have root canal. As a professional photographer, I specialize in helping the latter. Of course, I also work with those who are relaxed in front of a lens.
My goal is to make people feel comfortable in front of the lens. The best photos happen when you are at ease. It’s why I aim to create an easygoing experience. Stepping in front of the camera doesn’t have to feel awkward.
My approach is putting you at ease. For a portrait, I guide you through each pose, how to stand, what to do with your hands, and where to look.
When photographing events, I aim to capture spontaneous moments that show excitement, happiness, or tender moments. As a former freelance photojournalist, I am scanning the room or crowd looking for the scene or instance that tells a story.
I use my portrait skills when taking group photos to have everyone relax and look at the camera. I also carefully check the lighting and background to make sure there are no distracting elements in the photograph.
