I believe that having an experienced, knowledgeable photographer capture the fleeting moments of a conference or gala is critically important. As an award-winning photographer, I have documented hundreds of events for local and regional businesses and nonprofit organizations.

When I photograph an event, I focus on candid moments. It’s the images that display emotion—whether it's someone laughing or crying—that solidify the memories of the event. They reflect feelings that range from sad to exciting.

Having worked as a freelance photographer for business and news publications, I know how to pose groups at events. I ensure the lighting is correct and that the background is free of distractions that can ruin a well-composed photo.

I prepare for an event by scouting the location in advance. This allows me to bring the proper lighting equipment and camera lenses, and to determine the best spots for client-required posed photos. If the event includes an awards ceremony, I decide on the ideal area for the presenter and recipient to stand, ensuring the photo is perfect for their website and for framing.

I collaborate with you or your event planner to incorporate any logos or backgrounds you want in the photos. I also guide everyone in the photo on how to pose comfortably.
